This notice explains how Terevia Group Ltd ("Terevia," "we," "us") collects and uses personal information through this website, terevia.com, in connection with the Second Nature by Terevia programme.

Terevia Group Ltd is a company registered in England & Wales, company number 14768978, with registered office at 20-22 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website.

What we collect
We collect information submitted to us directly through the website's forms. We do not use tracking or analytics cookies.
We may receive aggregated website analytics from Cloudflare, such as page views, referral sources, device type and performance information. This is used to understand how the website is used and improve it. We do not use this to identify individual visitors.

When you use a Second Nature short link or QR code, the link is redirected through Rebrandly, our branded-link service provider. Rebrandly processes limited technical and click information on our behalf, including your IP address, which it uses to derive location information and then hashes, together with browser, device and click information, to operate and secure the redirect service. The redirect service may append a technical click identifier to the destination URL for service operation and measurement. Rebrandly may process this information in the United States under appropriate contractual safeguards, including the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not use this information as environmental evidence, for visitor profiling or for marketing.
Why we collect it, and our legal basis
We use enquiry information to respond to you and, where relevant, to assess fit for the Second Nature by Terevia programme and arrange a conversation. Our legal basis for this processing is legitimate interest, specifically our interest in responding to enquiries from businesses and organisations who have chosen to contact us. Where you submit information as part of entering into a commercial agreement with us, our legal basis is taking steps prior to entering into, or performing, a contract.
If you choose to receive launch and Founding 50 emails, we use the email address and optional business name you provide for those updates on the basis of your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time using the unsubscribe option in an email or by contacting us.
We also rely on legitimate interests to provide secure, stable branded links and QR access to public records.
We do not use your information for marketing unless you separately and explicitly opt in, and we do not add other form submissions to a marketing list by default.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and, if a relationship develops, for the duration of that relationship plus a reasonable period afterward for our records. If your enquiry does not lead to an ongoing relationship, we aim to delete it within 12 months. We keep launch-update signup information until you withdraw consent or the update purpose ends, subject to any minimal suppression record needed to respect an unsubscribe request.
Who we share it with
We use the following third-party services to operate this website and process enquiries:
- Formspree: processes form submissions from this website and delivers them to us. Formspree acts as a data processor on our behalf.
- Airtable: used internally to record participation data for businesses taking part in the Second Nature by Terevia programme, not for general website enquiries.
- Cloudflare: provides hosting, security infrastructure and, where enabled, privacy-friendly website analytics for this website.
- Rebrandly: provides the branded short-link and QR redirect service.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask us what personal information we hold about you, and request a copy of it.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- Ask us to delete your information, in certain circumstances.
- Object to or restrict how we use your information, in certain circumstances.
- Ask for your information to be provided to you in a portable format.

Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, we would like the chance to put it right. Please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
